Intermediate Yoga Series
NEW~ Intermediate Yoga Series ~ with Jamie
Step up your practice! These 6-week series are designed for students to learn how to align the body from head to toe using principles of alignment from a Hatha-Ashtanga background. Both alignment principles as well as postures will be taught progressively, which helps students deepen their practice in a powerful way. Students will learn a full range of postures appropriate to the class setting, with classes sometimes building toward a “pinnacle pose” for each session.
Classes will also include discussion, meditation, and pranayama. The series format offers you a way to come together with fellow yogis as a community each week, to dive deep into the offerings of Yoga, and to bring Yoga into your life in a committed way. The series is intended for students to commit to a weekly class; however, you are welcome to purchase a drop in.
~ 1st Series ~ Hugging the Midline
The midline is the imaginary line that runs through the center of one’s body, dividing it between back and front and between right and left sides. It has significance in both the physical and spiritual practice of yoga.
To seek or hug the midline in yoga asana practice means to find the stabilizing strength to balance in the poses. The midline is the foundation upon which each posture is built. Rather than use the outer muscles to support each pose, the process of hugging the midline supports the posture from deeper within.

Workshop Details: After a refreshing yoga class, we will bring mindful attention to what acting in self love looks and feels like in our minds and bodies, and how we can incorporate this practice into our daily lives. Then we will get crafty as we bring our intentions to life in the form of vision boarding.
What is a Vision Board? A vision board is a personal collage of images that reflect dreams, goals, personal intentions and what you want to invite into your life. It’s a way to focus energy on what inspires you, empowers you to go for your goals and visually showcases what you want to achieve. It’s a really cool and impactful way to encourage goal-setting and individual achievements.

Audrey M. Sheldon is coming back to Humbled Warriors Yoga for another workshop, Maha Sadhana! This class is where it all started for Audrey, coming from the Hatha Raja Yogic Tradition, passed down through her teacher Chandra Om. This practice is an exploration of devotion through the body, mind, and spirit to support Yoga’s purpose of Self Realization. Join Audrey as she guides students through meditation, breath work, a challenging vinyasa sequence, & a generous restorative Yoga Nidra at the end for deep integration of all that has been explored. This class is suitable for the students that wish to go deep into their yoga practice and to explore more advanced postures from a place of humility and receptivity of the heart. Foundations of Yama and Niyama are offered as gentle guides throughout the class.
