Yin yoga is a quiet, meditative practice with long, deep holding of passive poses. Using mindful muscle relaxation, yin postures target the connective tissue nourishing joints, ligaments, and fascia promoting the healthy flow of chi (energy). The Yin practice is a wonderful compliment to more vigorous yoga practices or activities such as running, cycling, and hiking. This practice is suitable and encouraged for all levels of practitioners.
A Vinyasa style class is all about movement and the flow of energy as you sync the body and the mind together through motion and breath. The beauty of Vinyasa Flow is there is no standard sequence, so the style, pace, and intensity will vary with each class and teacher. Variations on the Sun Salutation are often used as a warm-up followed by a standing sequence, balancing poses, seated poses, and a nice, juicy Savasana (relaxation pose). This class builds strength, endurance, and a strong focus. Modifications are offered if you are just getting started.
Circle of Love
Circle of Love is a Slow Vinyasa Flow class. We practice together in a circle with a candle in the center to symbolize the Light of Unity and to manifest our heart-felt desires. We end with Svanasana by placing a cold lavender towel on the forehead which represents the awakening of heart and mind, enriching the (Anahata) Heart Chakra.
An intermediate/advanced Vinyasa style class composed of intelligent and thoughtful sequencing that will allow you to connect breath with movement for a well-rounded Yoga experience. Take your practice to the next level with instruction towards various arm balances, backbends, inversions, and creative transitions.

This class moves at a slower pace than our Power Vinyasa classes but still incorporates instruction toward arm balances and inversions. Modifications and variations are offered throughout. All levels are welcome; please let the instructor know if you are new to Yoga.
