Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of Yoga, incorporating principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time. With these longer holds (deep stretches), we will target the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep fascia networks of the body – rather than the muscles.

Deepen your breath, tap into inner strength, and become more aware of the relationship between your mind and body. Special attention is paid to learning alignment principles so students can progress safely to intermediate classes. Foundation level classes also teach a need-to-know for all yogis — how to modify poses to fit individual needs.
