Bekah began her relationship with yoga at the age of 15 as a way to cope with her back pain from scoliosis. As a dancer, the rigors of the training left her body feeling unbalanced. Yoga became her way of keeping her body at its top physical condition while also relieving the stresses of performance life. In her adult life as a professional dancer and educator, she maintains the practice as a lifestyle.
She decided to deepen her experience with yoga by receiving her 200 Hr training from Asheville Yoga Center in 2019. She enjoys teaching a practice focused on body alignment, core strength, and back care. Off the mat when she isn’t dancing in the studio she enjoys being in nature and working at the organic farm she started with her friends.
